Bottom placed Kenyan Premier League side Chemelil Sugar FC has moved their rescheduled week two clash against champions Gor Mahia from Moi Stadium-Kisumu to Kericho Green Stadium.
The time and date of the clash (3pm EAT, Thursday 19 September) remain the same with the club’s team manager Mr Hillary Ouma telling Futaa that the changes were instigated by logistics.
“Before every home game against the bigger sides, we always sit down and see which ground best suits us. We consider a lot of things majorly on logistics and we saw it wise to host the game in Kericho and not Kisumu,” Ouma said.

The same change was confirmed by the KPL’s League and Competition Administrator Michael Kirwa who said the game was going to be hosted in Kericho.
Chemelil will hope they can be lucky this time at the Kericho Ground after going down to hosts Zoo Kericho at the same venue in their opening game of the season.
Gor Mahia, on the other hand, will be out to recover from their weekend CAF Champions League loss against USM Algers away in Algeria with the club already on three points following their opening day empathic win over Tusker FC.
