The Guinea Football Association has officially appointed former France international Didier Six as the new head coach on a three-year deal.
Upon his appointment, Six's main task is to guide Guinea to the Fifa 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 65-year-old who was capped 53 times for the France national team will take over from Belgian coach Paul Put who was sacked after Guinea failed to progress to the semifinals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Six has previously coached Togo and Mauritius.
