Chelsea have confirmed winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has signed a new five-year contract with the Blues.
The youngster has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich and was so close to leaving during the January transfer window but Chelsea rejected £35m bid from the Bundesliga giants. Despite handing in a transfer request, the Blues refused to let the 18-year-old go and Frank Lampard assured Hudson about his future and made an indication that he was ready to commit his future.
And now the England international has ended the speculations surrounding his future by signing a long term contract.
"It's been a long wait but it's done now and I'm really happy about that. I've been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at," he said.
"I'm delighted everything has been agreed and now I'm just looking forward to properly getting back."
Hudson, who has been on the sidelines since April after suffering an Achilles injury is set to return to first-team after recovery.
