Zambian Women national team striker Barbara Banda has been nominated for the Spanish Primera División Femenina following her exploits over the weekend as she netted a hat-trick to guide EDF Logroño to a 5-1 win over Tacón.
The former Green Buffaloes attacker is up against Barcelona's Nigerian forward Asisat Lamina Oshoala who scored a brace in the 6-1 bashing of Athletico Madrid and Carol Férez who helped Valencia to a 2-0 win over Athletic Club scoring the opener and setting up Zenetha Coleman for the second goal.
