Crystal Palace are reportedly in contention to make another move for Taras Stepanenko ahead of the January transfer window according to The Sun reports.
Rumour has that Palace missed out on the opportunity to acquire the services of Stepanenko who currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk during the recent transfer window.
New reports have now emerged that Stepanenko will be allowed to meet with the Eagles ahead of a possible move when the window officially opens.
According to The Sun, the 30-year-old will cost the Premier League side approximately £8 million if they are to make a move for him but things could change closer to the time.
Stepanenko has been described in the media as a player who is extremely physical in his approach of the game and that could come from the fact that he trained as a combat fighter in his younger days.
The Ukraine international has been playing for Shakhtar since 2010 where he was signed from Metalurh Zaporizhya - he has also been capped 54 times for his native country.
