Calum Chambers has marked his Arsenal return with a string of recent impressive displays and has credited his form to his previous loan spells.
Chambers was set for an Arsenal exit after previously featuring for Middlesbrough and Fulham in season-long loans but has now become a big part of Unai Emery's team. The 24-year-old scored in the 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa and provided two assists in the 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
In an interview with the club's official portal, Chambers revealed the reason for his improved form, "I've had a lot of experiences over the years like going to Middlesbrough and Fulham, and playing a few games here at Arsenal. As a player and as a human, I feel like I've grown up quite a lot.
"I feel like I'm bringing the experiences I've had over the past few years into my game too. I just want to keep developing, keep working hard and keep improving things every day. That's all I can do, to focus on being the best player I can."
