Enugu Rangers coach Benedict Ugwu is confident of beating AS Pelican Stars and advance to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Enyimba play host to Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup Second Preliminary Round return leg match against Gabonese side after suffering a 2-1 defeat in the first leg two weeks ago in Libreville.
Ugwu, a former Nigeria international claims there would be no hiding place for the Gabonese when they visit ‘The Cathedral’, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday, September 29.
“We lost the first leg in Libreville, but with what we have been doing since our return, I can assure you that we are good to go for a win that will qualify us for the next round,” the sift spoken coach was quoted by Complete Sports.
He calls on their supporters to head to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium to back them with their support.
“Let our fans come out in their numbers on Sunday to cheer us to victory,” he appealed.
