💰 West Ham slap £100m price tag on Manchester United & City target

West Ham have reportedly slapped a £100m price tag on Manchester United and City target Declan Rice.

In what is seen as an attempt to ward off interest from suitors on one of their stars, the Hammers will demand a hefty amount for Rice whom United attempted to price away in the summer.

According to The Express, the England international has been on United's radar ever since breaking into the first team.

The Hammers are in a good position to hold on to Rice, who still have four years left on his current contract.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees the 20-year-old as a perfect fit for United, who might lose Paul Pogba in the summer as he continues to push for an exit.

Rice joined Chelsea academy as an eight-year-old but was released when he was 14, going on to join West Ham after initially holding trials at Fulham.

He initially played as a central defender, before being moved further forward to play as a defensive midfielder, where he has excelled in the Premier League

It is here that he has also come to the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate, who named him in his squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
