Former Ghana coach Avram Grant has made no effort to hide his desire to coach the Black Stars again.
The 64-year-old Israeli, currently coaching India's North East United, led Ghana to AFCON 2015 final, where the Black Stars fell on penalties against Ivory Coast.
Grant’s Ghanaian tenure ended with his resignation after losing the AFCON 2017 semi-finals against Cameroon.
“I really miss Ghana and I want to re-unite with Ghana again if I am given the opportunity,” Grant said via GhanaWeb.
Grant also ended some words of encouragement towards former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyakatyi.
“I have so many memories about Ghana and I must say that Kwesi Nyantakyi did extremely well as the President of the Ghana Football Association but it’s quite unfortunate.”
“I love Ghana and ready to come back again,” Avram concluded.
Grant's complete record with Ghana:
- Played: 26
- Wins: 12
- Draws: 6
- Losses: 8.
