Change of venue for Gor Mahia v Zoo clash

The Kenyan Premier League clash between champions Gor Mahia and Zoo Kericho on Sunday 6 October that had been slated for Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos has been shifted to Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium.

According to KPL on their official social media threads, the change will also see a change in Kick-Off time with the match set to start at 3 pm and not 4:15 pm as it was earlier planned.

This will not only be the only game that will experience changes in week five of league action as that of Sofapaka FC and Bandari FC on the same day has had the same experience.

The game that had been slated to Kick Off at 2 pm will now commence an hour later with the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos venue remaining the same.

CAF Champions League

This will be the second game for Gor Mahia since being eliminated from the CAF Champions League with the Steve Pollack side slated to take on Nzoia Sugar FC at the Mumias Sports Complex on Wednesday 2 October in a rescheduled league fixture.

Before the Sofapaka game, Bandari, on the other hand, will be hosting Posta Rangers on Thursday 3 October at the Mbaraki Sports Club; this being their first game since making it to the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
