πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ—£ Kwesi Appiah names replacements for Tanko, Stephen Appiah

As reported on Futaa, Kwesi Appiah wants his assistant to make way for a new pair.

Fresh news out of Ghana reports that the Black Stars coach has listed Stephen Appiah and Ibrahim Tanko’s replacements.

According to Ghana Soccer Net, Appiah has forwarded four names to the Ghana Football Association. The new quadruple will serve as assistant coaches, goalkeeper coach, and team manager.

They are Charles Kwabla Akonnor, Sabahn Quaye, Najau Issah and Dr. Prince Pambo.

“GHANAsoccernet.com can report that Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has submitted a list to the Normalisation Committee which has the names of Charles Kwabla Akonnor, Sabahn Quaye, Najau Issah and Dr. Prince Pambo as part of a move to make changes to his backroom staff,” wrote the publication.

The technical team reshuffle of course comes after the AFCON 2019 flop. Ghana, expected to claim the continental glory, crash out in the last 16 on penalty kicks against Tunisia.

“GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Charles Kwabla Akonnor is set to replace Ibrahim Tanko as assistant coach, followed by Sabahn Quaye who will make a return as Team Manager, Dr. Prince Pambo as the team doctor, Najau Issah as goal keeper's trainer,” added the report.

“Appiah has submitted the list to the Normalisation Committee of the FA waiting for approval,” was the conclusion.
