Arsenal ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has blasted Borussia Dortmund Chief Hans-Joachim Watzke, after he took alluded the Gabonese moved to London because of money.
Aubameyang, who is enjoying his time at the Gunners, called Watzke a 'clown', and further suggested there was a reason he left the German club.
Watzke was quoted by Suddeutsche Zeitung saying:
"Of course it is hard to keep a player in the face of such sums. Some go to clubs because of this money, where they have not played Champions League for years,"
The striker, who has scored 49 times since joining the club, hit back through a post on his social media, further digging into Ousmane Dembele's sale to Barcelona.
"Better for you I never talk about why I really left Dortmund Mr Watzke, you such a clown," he tweeted.
"I remember that time you said we never going to sell Ousmane then you saw more than 100M, you were the first to take that money. Don't talk about money, please!!! Leave me alone pls."
Aubameyang enjoyed a hugely successful spell at the German side, scoring 98 league goals in 144 appearances before a then club-record move to the London club.
