Rwanda is set to host Tanzania in an international friendly on Monday 14 October at the Stade de Kigali in Kigali City.
According to FERWAFA (The body mandated to run football in Rwanda), the game will be staged as part of the FIFA window of international friendlies.
The game will be pivotal for both sides as they prepare for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers due next month with Rwanda placed in Group F alongside hosts Cameroon, Mozambique and Cape Verde.
Tanzania, meanwhile, is in Group J together with Tunisia, Libya and Equatorial Guinea.
The friendly too will be good preparation for head coach Vincent Mashami as he preparers his local-based players for their tie against Ethiopia in the return leg of the CHAN Qualifiers on October 19.
Rwanda will go into the tie with a 1-0 away victory registered last month in Mekelle, Ethiopia and an aggregate win in the tie will hand them a place in the 6th African Nations Championships (CHAN) to be held in Cameroon next year.
