FIFA have reportedly suspended Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Moses Magogo for two months over he illegal sale of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Tickets, Kawowo revealed.
According to reports, an investigation into Magogo was officially opened on July 23, 2018 after it had emerged that he was reselling the tickets.
The committee further revealed that Magogo had entered a plea bargain that has been ratified by the chairman of the adjudicatory chamber.
The President had during the annual FUFA general assembly shocked delegates when he announced that he would be stepping down for those two months he had been suspended.
Magogo is set to return to his role on December 10, 2019 after his suspension expires according to a statement that was released by FUFA.
