Eagles win away in Lumwana as Nakambala get lost in the Forest

The international calendar is in full swing but it was business as usual for Super League teams as Forest Rangers hosted Nakambala Leopards in a rescheduled week seven Super League encounter while In Solwezi, Lumwana Radiants welcomed Green Eagles in a rescheduled week four encounter Super League tie.

Fole Malembe continued their impressive run recording their third win in a row. Webster Muzaza put the ZAFFICO sponsored out-fit in the lead just eleven minutes into the match but Elias Maguri level matters a minute to half time.

Patrick Ilongo put the hosts back in lead seventeen minutes into the second half to secure maximum points for Fole Malembe who have since moved to third place but have played one more game than the rest of the teams in the league.

Spencer Sautu scored the only of the game after he lashed on a Tapson Kaseba shot in the 79th minute to hand the Kawale boys maximum points.

Eagles have moved to 5th place with ten points while Nakambala remains in 14th place and just a point above the relegation zone.
