Namazaba attributes Eagles win over Lumwana to tactical substitutions

Green Eagles assistant coach Alex Namazaba attributed his teams hard-fought one-nil away in Lumwana to tactical changes made in the second half.

Namazaba told Futaa Zambia in a post-match interview that Eagles anticipated a tough match.

"We knew it was going to be a tough game. They have been playing well despite not getting the results. In the first half, they dominated until we made changes, Brought in Chaloba (George), We finally had good creativity and got the all-important goal," he said.

"This game has motivated the players going into the Napsa Stars match this weekend. We would just like to urge the fans to continue supporting us and we will always try to do our best," he added.

Spencer Sautu scored the only goal of the game as the Kawale Boys cruised to their third straight win. Eagles have now moved to fifth place while Lumwana Radiants remain winless.
