It is believed one of the country’s brightest strikers is about to become an Asante Kotoko footballer.
The 20-year-old caught the Porcupine Warriors’ eye in last season’s Special Competition. Poku produced an impressive 10 goals in 14 games.
“The Porcupine Warriors are on the verge of announcing the capture of the budding talented goal poacher in the ongoing transfer window,” wrote the publication.
“Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of Nkoranza Warriors striker Kwame Poku ahead of the upcoming season.”
The publisher further added that Poku was set to join Ashanti Gold before the deal hit a snag.
