Tshimenga declared fit to face Kabwe Warriors

Nkana Football Club has been boosted by the return to full fitness of striker Fred Tshimenga. The Congolese forward has struggled with injuries since the start of the season.

The twelve-time Super League Champions confirmed the development on their official Facebook page.

The return of the former Forest Rangers forward is a welcome move for the Nkana technical bench who are in desperate need of a win as they have gone three games without a win. They will also bee missing the services of Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba who is out with the national team.

"Striker Fred Soutra Tshimenga has recovered to face Kabwe Warriors tomorrow (today). Coach Manfred Chabinga has confirmed. The coach has also assured that he has enough material to cover for Kelvin Mubanga and Gift Zulu."

Nkana travels to Kabwe to face Warriors in the MTN/FAZ Super League matchday six encounter at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium. Kickoff for the match is at 15:00hrs.
