Kisumu All Stars 1-2 Mathare United
At Moi Stadium in Kisumu, hosts Kisumu All-Stars looked to be on the verge of picking their first-ever win of the season over visiting Mathare. In a game that ended goalless draw in the first half, Gershom Arabe's deflected strike handed the hosts the lead in the 46th minute. However, Kevin Kimani scored the leveler in the 69th minute from close range.
Three minutes later, Mathare turned the tables as Clifford Alwanga put the Slum boys ahead with a superb volley that saw John Otieno beaten.
The win sees Mathare maintain their unbeaten run in the current season against struggling All Stars who are yet to register a single win this campaign. Salim Ali's boys will be up against title holders Gor Mahia while All Stars will try their luck against Sony Sugar.
