Nigerian defender Ola Aina has backed Sampdoria midfielder Ronaldo Vieira after a racial abuse.
The England-born player of Guinea Bissau descent was racially abused by Roma fans in the away section of the Stadio Luigi Ferrarris as the tie ended without a goal.
Though Roma has distanced themselves from the incident, Aina joined other players in standing behind the 21-year-old.
“With you bro,” he wrote on his Instagram handle with a fist emoji.
Racism scourge has tainted Italian football in recent months with Romelu Lukaku and other black players have fallen victims.
