Green Eagles Football Club will this afternoon start their quest to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage when they host Moroccan outfit Hassania Agadir.
The Kawale Boys dropped to the second tier of CAF inter-club Competitions after being eliminated from the CAF Champions League on away goals rule by Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto.
Agadir, on the other hand, progressed to the CAF Confederation Cup pre-group stage after they eliminated Al-Ittihad of Libya on away goals rule following a 1-1 draw.
This is the second time Eagles are playing in this Competition. Last year they made their debut and reached the first round and were eliminated by NA Hussein Dey of Algeria.
For Hassania Agadir their best season was last season as they reached the quarter-finals only to be eliminated by the eventual Champions, Zamalek.
Coach Aggrey Chiyangi is expected to line up his troops in a 4-4-2 formation with Tapson Kaseba and Kennedy Musonda leading the attack.
