AFC Leopards midfielder Saad Musa is ready for action after returning back following his month-long trials in Spain.
Saad left the country for a trial session with Spanish fourth-tier side Velez CF and after a three-week training with Leopards, he has the hopes that he can make the matchday squad that will be taking on Ulinzi Stars in their next league tie.
“I have had a three-week session since returning from Spain. I think I will be part of the team in the next game. I went to Spain when I was fit and I thank God the trials were a success and I want to thank the office for giving me the opportunity to go and attend them. It was a nice experience for me,” Musa is quoted saying in the club’s youtube channel.
On Ulinzi, the midfielder believes they can replicate the result in the reverse fixture and insisted that they have a good squad to do well in the game.
“Ulinzi is a good side and but we beat them by a solitary goal in the reverse fixture last season. I don’t want to concentrate on them but speak about us. We have a good team to compete and I’m confident that any player who will be fielded will give his best,” Saad added.
The game that is expected to test Leopards' resolve will Kick off at 1615hrs at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos.
