🌍⚽️ The biggest matches from around Planet Football that you cannot miss this weekend

There's always something happening in the world of football and this weekend is no different, with derbies and huge clashes spanning from South Africa to the USA and everywhere in between.

Here's some buildup to the action that we are excited to provide.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Norwich vs Watford

It's already looking like a crucial fixture in the Premier League relegation battle. Watford is yet to win this season, while Norwich is winless in their last six and have failed to score in six of their last nine. It won't be the highest quality football match but it will certainly be intriguing.

🇩🇪 Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund

Der Klassiker, a meeting between Germany's two most successful sides in the 21st century, promises plenty of fire and passion. Bayern's record of seven consecutive Bundesliga wins might come under some serious threat this season, but only if Dortmund can get their act together. The Black & Yellows have drawn four of their last six in the league, while Bayern sits in the unfamiliar surroundings of 4th position.

Both sides got morale-boosting midweek Champions League wins and will be desperate to make a statement this Saturday to get their title chase back on track. It's a match that both need to win in order to make ground on surprise leaders Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Watch out for Robert Lewandowski, who has scored in every single Bundesliga and Champions League match this season.

🇿🇦 Kaizer Chiefs vs Orlando Pirates

The Soweto Derby is the most-watched club match in African football, and Amakhosi has reason to believe that they can get a massively important win this time around. They've started the PSL season brilliantly, notching eight wins from their ten matches; a win would make them early title favourites and deliver the bragging rights to their adoring fans. It's the match that matters most in South Africa, season after season.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Leicester vs Arsenal

After hitting Southampton for nine and beating Crystal Palace 2-0, Brendan Rodgers' Foxes are in the driving seat for a fourth-place finish in the Premier League. It's an objective shared by Arsenal, but the Gunners have fallen off the pace dramatically in recent weeks with only one Premier League win in their last four. A loss here would surely raise serious doubts about Unai Emery's future, and Jamie Vardy is licking his lips at the prospect of a duel with Arsenal's defenders.

🇮🇹 Juventus vs AC Milan

It's an age-old Italian rivalry dubbed as the "Derby d'Italia" but in truth, Juventus lives streets ahead of Milan in the current football climate of Serie A. With eight straight Scudetto wins, The Old Lady of Turin enter this clash off the back of a Derby win over Torino and a last-gasp win in Moscow in the Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo will be the man expected to steal the limelight again.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Liverpool vs Man City

Last season's Premier League title race thrilled the world as Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola's excellent sides traded wins, week-for-week until literal and figurative millimetres separated them. The last meeting between England's top two was a 2-1 win for City at the Etihad Stadium which dragged them back into the title race at the halfway mark. They must win on Sunday to play catchup again.

🇪🇸 Real Betis vs Sevilla

Seville will come to a standstill when its two most famous clubs clash in the Andalusian capital to do battle for local pride and three points in El Gran Derbi. Betis started the season inconsistently, shipping plenty of goals, but they came from behind to beat Celta Vigo last week and then held Real Madrid to a 0-0 draw at the Bernabeu on matchday 11.

World Cup winner Nabil Fekir will want to have a big say on the outcome here with his lovely left foot.

🇺🇸 Seattle Sounders vs Toronto FC

It doesn't get much bigger than this in the United States, as the two most successful MLS franchises in recent history clash in the 2019 MLS Cup Final. CenturyLink Field is the venue for the third cup final meeting between these two sides in the last four seasons. Which side will make history?

There you have it. As with most weekends, we simply cannot wait for the football feast to start.
