Shinde come back excites Green Eagles coach

Green Eagles' first Assistant coach Alex Namazaba expressed happiness with his teams' performance after they came from a goal down to beat Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 2-1 at Shinde Stadium on Saturday.

Namazaba believes the win is a confidence booster for his team following their premature exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.

"Very good game, I was very happy with the way the boys played today, especially in the second half. In the first half we struggled a bit but after we conceded we told them to play with confidence which they managed and scored two goals to win the game," he said.

" We told every player to be ready to play and that's why you saw the two players who came on made the difference and we scored the two goals."

"This win means a lot, After the CAF Confederation Cup exit this win gives the team confidence going forward because we want to play Continental football again."

Second-half goals from Gozon Mutale and Hosea Silwimba handed Green Eagles their fourth win of the season and helped them move to sixth place on the log.
