Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will face no disciplinary action from the English FA over his comments in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Liverpool.
Pep made a 'sarcastic' comments towards referee Michael Oliver and his assistants at Anfield as he was furious that two penalties were not awarded for handball.
At the end of the match, Pep shook hands with the officials and said 'thank you so much' but later denied that he was being sarcastic.
However, after studying Guardiola's comments at Anfield on Sunday the FA have decided that there is no case to answer, DailyMail reports.
The City boss defended himself, saying: 'It was not sarcastic, it was 'thank you so much'. I say it all the time to my colleagues.'
