Enrique had left the role five months ago to tend to the grave illness of his daughter Xana, who tragically passed away in September from bone cancer.
Moreno won six games and drew two in his eight matches. "Robert Moreno has informed his Spain players that he won't stay in the job for the Euro 2020 and said goodbye to the squad in tears on Monday night," reported Marca today.
