Uruguay international Gaston Pereiro's agent Paso Casal has revealed that he has approached AC Milan to discuss a potential deal for his client ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, Pereiro had been discussed with AC Milan before but the deal did not materialise and it seems like now is the time for the 24-year-old to make his move to Italy.
The publication further revealed that the PSV Eindhoven midfielder has been given the go-ahead to leave the club for free as his current contract is set to expire in the summer transfer window.
Pereiro has been vocal about wanting to try a new challenge in his career citing that he wants Italy to be his next stop.
Bologna, on the other hand, have also emerged as potential suitors for the 24-year-old having reportedly met with the player's agent.
Pereiro could end up making his move to Milan in January but according to reports, a small fee would have to be paid to PSV for his services.
