Mwape will battle Nigeria’s Thomas Dennerby, South Africa’s Desiree Ellis, Ivory Coast’s Clementine Toure, Cameroon’s Alan Djeumfa and Kenya's David Ouma.

The Copper Queens have to overcome stiff competition from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya. The Zambia Women's national team has been fantastic in 2019 winning Silver at the 2019 COSAFA Women's Cup and reaching the final stage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics qualifiers.

Zambia and Cameroon are the last two teams standing and will face off in the final in January with the winner booking a place at the Olympics while the runner up will face Chile in a playoff.
