Anybody who has seen & heard Teko Modise doing TV analysis will welcome news of him taking a coaching role.
The Cape Town City ambassador and we have to say, very sharp football analyst, is set to pull on a tracksuit and do his thing in the dressing room.
Modise has confirmed that City have appointed him to coach the club’s development team that stems from the club’s DreamClub 100 initiative. The event is the club’s local 100 club tournament which culminated in the selection of 20 players.
The next star could be here 💙🏆

“DreamClub 100 is a program that excites me very much. I’ve seen the impact it has on kids from communities that are similar to where I come from,” Modise told Soccer Laduma.
The same initiative which began two years ago recently celebrated its first success with the promotion of the 18-year-old Olwethu Nyembe.
I had to get involved with it especially from a coaching side where I saw some great young talent who would benefit so much with a bit of guidance from me. It also gives me the opportunity to do some coaching with a young group of players who are eager to learn,” Modise added.
Meanwhile, City’s new coach Jan Olde Riekerink will be searching for his first win against Chippa United at home this weekend.
