Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard has been tipped to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or by Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.
Hazard completed his long-anticipated move from Premier League side Chelsea to Real Madrid in the summer, and seems to be settling following struggles in the early weeks.
He has since shown flashes of the brilliance that saw him mentioned in the same breath as football greats Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Martinez, who manages Hazard on international level further likened the attacker to Chicago Bulls great and NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
"I see Hazard winning the Ballon d'Or," Martinez told Cadena Ser program El Larguero. "He has the role of being a Ballon d'Or winner.
"What he has done is the level of the Ballon d'Or and he is always eligible for the prize.
"He has done it at Chelsea, in France. It is difficult for a foreigner to be at the reference of a project that works to win the league.
"He is a last-pass player, a Michael Jordan. Hazard is the Michael Jordan of football."
Hazard is currently nursing a minor injury he suffered against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League, which will see him miss the El Classico set for December 18.
Hazard has scored once from the 13 appearances he has made for Los Blancos this campaign and also registered a single assist.
