Here are the 16 teams that qualified for the Champions League knockout stages

All four English teams made it out of the UEFA Champions League group stages to complete the 16 teams that qualified for the knock out phases of the competition.

Chelsea and Liverpool needed wins in the final matchday as victories over Lille and FC Salzburg respectively ensured their place in the last 16.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur headed into the final group clash having already qualified with Spurs suffering defeat at the hands of Bayern and City beating Dinamo Zagreb.

Heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona also sealed a place in the last 16 with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Juventus also earning qualification out their groups.

The draw for the last 16 of the Champions League will take place on 16 December at 2 PM (EAT) at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
