Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has suggested they will be looking for new additions in January, but will only get players who can improve the side.
Chelsea has been linked with a number of stars in January, following the lifting of their transfer ban last week.
Speaking ahead of the Bournemouth match on Saturday, Lampard, however, said he is happy with the crop of players he has, even though he would be keen on revamping.
"All the players that are here, I won’t have any talk of anything in January until we get to January. I want every player in the squad to be here for Chelsea, to have the right professionalism and the desire to be here,"
"We have to look to improve if we can but I’m happy with the squad. It’s not just my job but I will recommend players who I think can improve us but also fit in with the style and way we want to go and come in really hungry so that’s what we’ll look for,"
Jadon Sancho, Ben Chilwell, and Wilfried Zaha have all been mooted as possible additions to the Blues in the next transfer window.
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has however ruled out any January moves for a number of his stars, including James Madison and Jamie Vardy.
“There’ll be no-one leaving in January. Categorically," said the Leicester boss on Thursday.
“I’m sure if we speak (to the hierarchy), they will have the same message.
“I speak regularly with Jon [Rudkins] and Top [Khun Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha]. It’s very clear we want to keep this squad together. We want to ensure they stay around beyond January.”
