English giants Manchester United believe that they will snap up Jadon Sancho despite interest from rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.
According to tabloids in the UK, the Old Trafford giants feel the 19-year old England forward favors them and won’t return to City as he feels that he wasn’t given a chance when he was with them.
A move to Liverpool for Sancho has been complicated since the Merseyside has all but wrapped up negotiations with Red Bull Salzburg winger Takumi Minamino.
Further reports indicate that United are monitoring the situation of Christian Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspurs with the London club open to negotiations in January.
The Sancho move has been ignited once again by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who feels they can still attract the biggest names to the club even without Champions League football.
Despite his performances, Sancho has endured a difficult second season in the German top-flight off the field. He was dropped entirely from Dortmund's matchday squad for their clash against Borussia Monchengladbach in October and had also been hit with a fine of a week's wages.
The highly-coveted wonderkid was later benched against Barcelona after reporting late to a team meeting but despite the woes, he has scored seven times this season and gave eight assists.
