Frank Lampard reveals why Christian Pulisic missed the win over Nottingham Forest

After missing the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, Frank Lampard has revealed that Christian Pulisic sat out of the game due to an injury.

The American clocked 66 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion and was expected to feature in the cup tie against Forest.

Chelsea ran out 2-0 winners courtesy of strikes from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ross Barkley as they progressed to the Fourth Round of the tournament.

In an interview with Chelsea TV after the game, Lampard revealed that Pulisic had picked up an injury, "Christian Pulisic got injured yesterday in training."

Pulisic's injury does not seem serious as he was seen walking around at Stamford Bridge with ease and might be available for their next clash against Burnley.

Chelsea will find out their opponents in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup in a draw slated for Monday night.
