Real Valladolid Sporting Director, Miguel Angel Gomez has confirmed that Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu will not be leaving the club in this transfer window, Ghanasoccernet reported.
Salisu who was handed his debut this season has been heavily linked with moves to Everton, Newcastle United and Norwich City for his impressive displays at Valladolid.
The 20-year-old has been tipped for greatness as he continues to grow at the club, however, it is believed there is always room for improvement as he is still young.
"My intuition tells me that it will not come out in this market. There is a risk of a 'clausulazo', but I don't think it will happen," Gomez said.
Salisu's contract at Valladolid is set to expire in the European summer of 2022.
