The failure to include a recall clause in Alexis Sanchez's loan deal with Inter Milan may have dealt Manchester United a major blow.
Manchester United are going through injury crisis with star player Marcus Rashford now out for up to three months.
Though manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has publicly admitted he could be on the hunt for new talent this month whether it’s on loan or a permanent transfer, Daily Star reports that he won’t be able to recall Chilean flop Sanchez from Italy to relieve the pressure on his front line.
Giving details about Rashford's injury, Solskjaer said the player is expected to start light training after six weeks.
“Marcus suffered a stress fracture against Wolverhampton.
“I don’t know how long he will be out. We will give him enough time to heal.
“It’s normally six weeks before you get going slightly, probably, and then he will need time to get match-fit again.”
