This winter transfer window, Manchester United, has been linked with several midfielders, from Declan Rice to Sean Longstaff, Bruno Fernandes and now, Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara.
According to The Sun, Bayern Munich is planning a major midfield shakeup and Thiago might be among five names set to leave the German giants.
Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are currently being trusted in the midfield this season, but Alcantara has 11 league starts and a goal to his name.
In 2013, under David Moyes, the Red Devils tried to sign the Spain international but a bid was reportedly rejected.
Alcantara is 28 years old and with 18 months left on his contract, he might be looking to leave the club, as talks of an extension have hit an impasse.
