Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has described Wilfred Ndidi's performance in a 4-1 win against West Ham on Wednesday as excellent.
Ndidi was out for two weeks and missed Leicester City's two EPL defeats to Southampton and Burnley.
The 23-year-old returned to action on Wednesday, coming in as a 34th-minute substitute for Nampalys Mendy as Leicester beat West Ham 4-1.
“It’s remarkable, really,” Rodgers said after the game.
“We were thinking he could only play 25-30 minutes.
“Obviously he was fine to come on and play a full hour.
“He is genetically blessed and he recovered very, very well. And he was excellent.”
Ndidi has made 21 league appearances for Leicester City this season and scored twice.
