Pep Guardiola wary of Manchester United ahead of Carabao Cup clash

Despite a healthy 3-1 advantage ahead of the Carabao Cup second leg clash, Pep Guardiola has revealed that the tie is not yet over due to Manchester United's "incredible history".

City are in firm control of the semi-final after beating United 3-1 at Old Trafford and can afford a 1-0 loss to book their place in the final.

A 2-0 win for United would take the game to extra-time after the Carabao Cup abandoned the away goals rule.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the United clash, Guardiola was wary of the threat United can pose, "It is Man United. They can do it. We have to do almost a perfect to go through to the semi-final.

"In this kind of games against this kind of teams with incredible history behind. They have pride and I know how difficult it will be to reach the final."

United have proven that they are capable of overturning deficits after beating Paris Saint-Germain despite a 2-0 home loss in the first leg.
