With the January window closed in England, teams are now looking to strengthen in the summer, and Ole Gunner’s Man United wants to do this by prioritizing a move for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
After reports emerged that Leicester City’s James Maddison is set to sign a new contract with the Foxes, the Red Devils have now, according to the Daily Mirror, set their sights on Villa’s academy graduate.
The report adds that United will, however, face competition for the midfielder’s signature from other clubs, with Spurs said to have come close to signing Grealish in 2018.
Even though United signed midfielder Bruno Fernandes from Sporting CP in the winter window, with fears of losing Paul Pogba in the summer, the clubs will look to sign more midfield options.
