New Zambia coach Milutin Sredojevic will have Osward Mutapa as one of his assistants on the Zambia bench.
Mutapa, currently the head coach of the Zambia U20 national side, will be officially named as Sredojevic's assistant.
“Mutapa will be one of the two assistant coaches to new Chipolopolo Boys coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic,” wrote ZamFoot.
“Goalkeeper coach Stephen Mwansa will also be part of the technical bench. Micho is also expected to bring his own assistant coach and a goalkeeper trainer. A video analyst is also expected to be joining Micho and his technical bench from time to time.”
Meanwhile,the first of two big assignments will begin in March with back to back 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Botswana. October will see the start of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers with Zambia battling the likes of Tunisia, Mauritania and Equatorial Guinea.
