Egypt international Trezeguet has insisted that Aston Villa should give their all in the Carabao Cup final after he said playing against Manchester City is like playing 22 men, Express & Star reported.
Trezeguet scored a late winner for Villa in the semifinal against Leicester City in December and the victory sent the side to their first major final in five years.
However, the match won't be a walk in the park for the side that has already been beaten twice by Manchester City, not forgetting the shocking 6-1 loss for the Villans on home ground.
“Playing against Manchester City is very difficult and exhausting. You feel that you’re up against 22 players on the pitch. Of course, winning the cup with Aston Villa is a huge dream,” Trezeguet said.
Villa will return to training on Monday, February 10 after the Premier League winter break as they prepare for another massive clash when they make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on February 16.
