Former Republic of Ireland player Tony Cascarino has tipped Manchester United to beat Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid to the signature of Aston Villa star man Jack Grealish.
United are keen to sign Grealish in the summer who helped Villa secure their return to the Premier League last season. The winger has flourished in the PL this season, netting nine goals while providing five assists in 26 appearances.
His former has seen a number of clubs interested in acquiring his services with the likes of Barcelona and Madrid keen to lure him to the La Liga next season. However, Cascarino believes Grealish will be heading to Old Trafford this summer.
"I think he has got that Philippe Coutinho-type of performance," he told talkSPORT.
"I think Manchester United is where he will go because I think they will be the guys that will go the hardest for him. United now are going to go with a sledgehammer with certain transfers they want to get over the line, and Jack, I think, is going to be one of them."
The Red Devils, who acquired the services of Bruno Fernandes for £68million last month and secured a deadline day loan deal for Odion Ighalo, are currently eighth on the log in the Premier League standings.
