Scotland manager Steve Clarke is set to have his star midfielder John McGinn back in action following an update from Aston Villa manager Dean Smith.
The positive injury update comes in handy for Scotland when they take on Israel in the Euro 2020 semifinals in hopes they will make it to the final of the competition.
McGinn has been outstanding on the international having scored six goals from three appearances and he is one player the squad will need back in the fold.
"He's out of the boot, he's been out of it for the last week or two," Smith told the club's official website.
"He's pushing the medical staff all the time to hasten his recovery. He's a really, really energetic person as well as a player.
"He's well-liked around the place and he'll be pushing me to try and get back for that cup final against Manchester City on March 1.
"I think it'll be a week or two later than that but it won't be for the want of trying with John.
"And the added bonus for us is it's like having a brand new signing coming into the team at a really important time."
“He is a fighter and he is a quick healer.
"He has another big date with the Euros and he will be itching to get back as soon as possible that's for sure."
