Bandari 2-1 KCB: Dockers hit Bankers to halt four-match winless streak

Bandari on Wednesday 12th hit visiting KCB 2-1 in a Kenyan Premier League tie played at Mbaraki Sports Ground, Mombasa.

The win ensured that the Coastal side ended their four-match winless streak and are now placed 11th with 23 points on the KPL log.

After a goalless first half, danger man William Wadri gave the hosts the lead in the 47th minute through a penalty kick after Cliff Kasuti had been tripped in the box. Yema Mwana doubled the lead in the 75th-minute after dribbling past Gabriel Adika in the Bankers'posts and tapped in the empty net.

Baridi Bao halved the deficit in the 82nd minute but the Dockers held on to register their sixth win of the season. This was KCB's second loss on the trot and now remain rooted in the fourth spot with 38 points.
