Bandari head coach Twahir Muhiddin says he expected the victory against KCB following a 2-1 win over the Bankers on Wednesday evening.
Since taking over from Bernard Mwalala, Muhiddin secured his first win as Bandari coach after his side registered a 2-1 victory over KCB. William Wadri and Cliff Kasuti were on target for the Dockers with Baridi Bao getting a consolation goal for the visiting side.
During his post-match press conference, Muhiddin admitted his side is still facing the same problem of lacking sharpness in front of the goal.
"We were expecting the victory and finally, we got it so we thank the Lord but we struggled. I can see we still have the same problem, we've won but I wasn't much impressed with how we missing lots of chances," he said.
Muhiddin stated that his side needs to work hard and improve in its final third in order to start scoring more goals.
"We need to work hard on that, we have good play and creation of chances but the final pass is missing. The players themselves need to work hard. Team's training isn't enough, they need to ensure they go the extra mile."
"They already know since this is our fourth KPL match, they need to push themselves hard in order to improve their output."
The Dockers are currently 11th on the log with 23 points after 20 matches.
