Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino could set a new Premier League record if he scores away to Norwich when the league leaders play at Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Brazilian's eight strikes this season have all been away from home and could set a new record if he scores against Norwich.
He would set a competition record for the most goals scored exclusively in away matches in a season, beating Ryan Giggs' mark that has stood for 18 years.
Firmino's away goals
- vs Southampton
- vs Burnley
- vs Chelsea
- vs Crystal Palace
- vs Leicester (2)
- vs Tottenham
- vs Wolves
The Brazilian though still has some way to go beat the record for most away goals in a season, which is currently held by Kevin Phillips, who scored 16 times on the road for Sunderland in 1999/2000.
There are five players on the joint-second on that list with 15 goals, including two currently active players; Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.
