After his stellar performance on Thursday night, Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno wants teenager Bukayo Saka to stay at the club 'for a very long time'.
Saka yet again grabbed another assist for Arsenal as his side registered a 1-0 victory over Olympiakos thanks to Alexander Lacazette's 81st-minute strike. The teenager's contract with the Gunners is set to expire in the summer of 2021 with reports indicating talks over an extension have hit a stumbling block. Goalkeeper Leno is in no doubt he wants the England youngster to stay.
"Bukayo is an outstanding player, hopefully, he stays very long at Arsenal. He is very important for us. I think today his cross was very good for Laca to score," he said after the match.
"We’re happy now we’ve got the advantage and the away goal. At home, we want to beat them again and go through to the next round," he added.
Saka has now provided nine assists across all competitions this season, more than any other Arsenal player.
