Coach Otieno a happy man after KCB beats Posta Rangers 3-1

KCB FC coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno was a happy man after seeing his charges register a 3-1 win over Posta Rangers in a Kenyan Premier League on Saturday.

The win lifted the Bankers to second on the log with 41 points, four behind leaders Gor Mahia. The Bankers are tied on points with Tusker and Kakamega Homeboyz but have played two games more than the Brewers and a game more than Homeboyz.

Commenting on the win, Otieno said that he was satisfied with how his team responded to the two losses they had registered in the last three matches.

"It was a good win after losing two games but all in all it was a good win and we still focused on our goals," he said.

He also fancied the team's chances of winning their maiden KPL title. "We still have the same goal of winning the title. At the beginning of the season, every team had a chance of winning the league but in the end it's the team that wins most matches. We are taking every match at a time and probably be the team with the most wins," he said.

Otieno also revealed that danger man Reagan Odhiambo missed this encounter due to a slight knock picked up during their FKF Cup match against Zoo Youth in Kisii.
