Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is a doubt for Sunday's Manchester Derby after he sustained an ankle injury in training.
The club captain missed the trip to Derbyshire to face Derby County in the FA Cup on Thursday night, and his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, revealed it was due to an ankle discomfort.
“I had a word with him before training yesterday to say I'm not going to rest him. But then he rolled his ankle in training so he had to stay at home," Solkjaer said ahead of the match.
“Hopefully he'll be okay for the weekend but I'm not sure," he added.
The defender too took to social media to air his disappointment at missing the FA Cup tie but promised to work towards getting fit soon enough.
His injury would be a huge blow to Ole, especially with the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford up next.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James too missed the clash due to various injuries.
